March is National Women’s History Month, and the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce will be honoring women who have made significant contributions to our community on Thursday, March 26, 2026. The Chamber is accepting nominations for women who have made a difference in the areas of business, government, the arts, health or community. Honorees will be recognized and celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 5:30 pm. To nominate an honoree, please click here: Form Nomination forms are due Friday, February 6th at 12:00 noon. To see past honorees, click here: Past Honorees Women's History Month traces its beginnings back to 1911, to the First International Women's Day. In 1980, President Carter, issued a proclamation creating an official Women's History Week and in 1987, recognizing the outstanding contributions of women to our nation's history, Congress established March as the official Women's History Month. The San Pedro Chamber looks forward each year to joining in the celebration.
