Spirit of '45 Celebration

Spirit of ‘45: Step Back in Time and Celebrate the Anniversary of the End of WW2 San Pedro’s own historical landmark, the S.S. Lane Victory in collaboration with The Historical Unit of Southern California are proud to be hosting the Spirit of ‘45 Celebration, a commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the end of World War II on Saturday August 14th from 10am to 3pm. The event, which will be held dockside and on board the historical three war veteran ship, the S.S. Lane Victory. The event will celebrate the spirit of shared sacrifice and service of the men and women of World War II with interactive living history displays, historical reenactors, WW2 vehicles, ship tours, weapons demonstrations, and dancing aboard the ship accompanied by our special guest The Gem City JazzCats! Join us in keeping the Spirit of ‘45 alive! Saturday, August 14th 10am-3pm at the S.S. Lane Victory. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All proceeds go toward the restoration and preservation of this Southern California gem, the historical S.S. Lane Victory.
