Networking Mixer: A Celebration of the Warner Grand Theatre’s 90th Birthday and Screening of Charlie Chaplin’s Classic Film, CITY LIGHTS

San Pedro, CA (11/05/2021)—Grand Vision Foundation and the San Pedro International Film Festival (SPIFF) together with the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce present Charlie Chaplin’s 1931 tour-de-force silent film, CITY LIGHTS at the historic Warner Grand Theatre. Film tickets include Pre-Screening Reception (5:00-6:30pm) with one complimentary drink ticket. Enjoy generous appetizers, sparkling wine or a vintage specialty cocktail plus a brief, live musical set of 1920s and ‘30s tunes by LA’s vintage songstress, Janet Klein.

City Lights, Charlie Chaplin’s silent romantic comedy is considered his masterpiece and has been regarded by directors and critics, throughout the 20th century, as one of the best films ever made. This special screening (7:00pm) announces the Opening Night and the 10th Anniversary of the San Pedro International Film Festival and celebrates Grand Vision Foundation’s 25th Anniversary and the Warner Grand Theatre’s 90th Birthday. The event will bring together the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce’s business and arts community, classic film and film festival fans and art deco enthusiasts.
