Exploring the Military History of Fort McArthur and Palos Verdes
The origins and development of Fort MacArthur and the military presence in Palos Verdes are examined in a talk by Jim Shneer. After 54 years in aerospace engineering management, Jim has been writing and lecturing on a variety of historical subjects, among them railroads in L.A. and local military history. The talk is presented by the San Pedro Bay Historical Society.
